Ya están escogidas las 24 bandas que se reunirán para ayudar a la infancia colombiana.
Sonidos procedentes de los cuatro puntos cardinales de Colombia afinan sus voces y preparan sus guitarras para recaudar fondos a favor de la niñez menos favorecida del país.
La selección de las bandas que participarán en el evento "Música por los niños 2007" fue realizada a través de una convocatoria en la que más de 50 bandas enviaron sus demos y material musical en distintos formatos de audio; el resultado final arrojó como participantes a grupos de diferentes géneros que fusionan pop, rock, punk y ska, así como bandas de trayectoría musical como The black cat bone, El siete, ratón Pérez, Batracios, entre otras.
El evento realizado por la Asociación de Apoyo a la Infancia, recolecta el dinero de las entradas a favor de la fundación Alejandrito Corazón, que ayuda a niño de bajos recursos que padecen enfermedades vasculares. El objetivo de este concierto colectivo es convertirlo en una cita anual a beneficio de diferentes instituciones que tienen como tarea fundamental el cuidado y la protección de la niñez colombiana.
"Música por los niños 2007" se llevará a cabo los días 19 y 20 de mayo en Theatron en la ciudad de Bogotá, a las 11 am, las entradas tienen un costo de 20 mil pesos.
