ARMY WIVES
People + Arts presents the exclusive premiere of a new series that captures the challenges, dreams and friendships of four women and one man living with their families in a U.S. military base.
They are Claudia Joy, Denise, Roxy, Pamela and Roland and together starring ARMY WIVES.
The program premieres every Tuesday at 10:00 pm beginning July 21 and repeated on Sundays at 8:00 pm
Hope, love, family, strength, passion and suspense are some elements that this new series offers the teleudiencia as presents to each of his characters and situations that bring them together.
Roxy LeBlanc (Sally Pressman) always had a complicated life. Working in a seedy bar and took care of her two children (different father) in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. But his life suddenly changed when Trevor LeBlanc (Drew Fuller), a man enlisted in the army asks marriage at 4 days of knowing. ARMY WIFE is now a Fort Marshall.
Cherished memories of Claudia Joy Holden (Kim Delaney, NYPD Blue) revolve around the Army. Born into an upper class family and after finishing his career in law at Harvard, Claudia's life changed dramatically. Now it takes 17 years married to Colonel Michael Holden (Brian McNamara, The OC) and has won several gallons as ARMY WIFE. When approaching a promotion for her husband, Claudia calls for her husband as if she were in a battlefield.
In Fort Marshall, a military base full of compassionate wife, Roland Burton (Sterling K. Brown), a ARMY HUSBAND, is the psychiatrist husband Lt. Col. Joan Burton (Wendy Davis), a career soldier who recently returned from Afghanistan . The Burton are trying to reinvent their marriage after a long separation. Denise Sherwood (Catherine Bell, JAG) is the opposite: the submissive housewife married to Major Frank Sherwood (Terry Serpico) and mother of troubled teen, Jeremy, is calm in appearance, but carries scars that haunt her and would rather clear.
Pamela Moran (Brigid Brannagh) and her husband Chase (Jeremy Davidson) also try to stay together. Pam, a former police officer and full time mom now, are seen with two little black and Chase trying to climb ranks in his military career. To get money, Pam is provided to conceive twins in a couple can not.
The five are known in the ladies room during a special dinner. Several things are revealed during the brief meeting, Claudia Joy asks Denise about his scars and Roxy hear it all, Joan and Roland get caught doing almost from yours in one of the bathrooms and then pops Pamela who raises suspicions with its huge belly ...
The next meeting is organized by Claudia Joy tea at home. Everyone is tested to obtain its final entry to the club of military wives. All goes well until Pamela water breaks you in the bathroom of Claudia. Minutes later they are all in the truck carrying Pamela Roland to the hospital, but the party is already over and Roxy decides to give birth in a pub - an enclosed space, with enough towels and hot water. After hard work and a couple of shots of vodka to relax, Pamela gave birth to a beautiful and healthy pair of African-American babies. Exhasustos, all realize they are at the dawn of a new friendship.
ARMY WIVES is based on the book by Tanya Biank, Under the Sabers: The Unwritten Code of Army Wives. It was produced by ABC Television Studio and The Mark Gordon Company. Today is one of the most acclaimed series and view the Lifetime Channel in the U.S., which launched in June 2007. In the United States and leads the series three seasons.
