MTV marks the bicentenary of Colombia with special programming 17 and July 18.
The celebration "Mtv bicentennial" in Argentina began in May and is now the time to Colombia.
MTV announced today that it will continue with the celebration of the Bicentennial of Latin America with programming and special projects. To mark the bicentenary of Colombia, in July will be issued specially designed music program with Colombian talent. 17 and July 18 from 10:00 am, MTV playlists issued eight different half-hour each, to celebrate and enhance the musical talent of Colombia.
This is part of the proposed program "MTV Bicentennial," a celebration that began last May in Argentina and includes programming and music specially made for MTV to accompany the festivities related to this day unprecedented number of countries in the region. For MTV, music has always been an important element and the music that has come out of Colombia has reached other Hispanic countries and crossed the barriers of language. Among the artists include: Juanes, Shakira, Aterciopelados, Don Tett, Fanny Lu, Fonseca and Dr. Krápula, among others.
Besides special musical programming, MTV made creative graphic pieces to rotate the screen during this celebration with tabs, promos and fillers.
Bicentennial celebrations began in Argentina in May music programming including 100% Argentina, recordings of testimony concerning the Bicentennial of Machu Catupecu, Pericos, Juanse, Cucho (Authentic decline), Tales Borgeanos, Los Tipitos, Airbag, among others. In addition, exclusively premiered the film adaptation of the renowned comic strip created by Roberto Fontanarrosa: Boogie, oil.
